New Carpet

The carpet in both Luke’s and Elise’s rooms was still original from 22 years ago. When Elise developed a cough that she couldn’t shake and was put on Nasonex to shrink her adenoids and tonsils, Dad decided both kids should get new carpet. I don’t have an after photo, but they are both very happy with the new plush feel and look. 
Elise is on a list for getting her adenoids and potentially also her tonsils removed. Poor girl already had her adenoids removed as a baby, but they grew back.

National Day of Truth and Reconciliation

Deciding that Truth and Reconciliation were really not our issue, we went to PG to enjoy a long weekend with Jared’s family. Even Caleb came along! The men went to work tackling the winter wood supple while we ladies ran the home front. I did get to try the log splitter, but Luke, with his broken arm, was very busy with that job when he wasn’t driving the tractor. By the end of the day, the logs were beautifully stacked. Caleb had this responsibility and did a great job.

Little things

Campground map- very helpful  Dad and I snuck off for one walk together in the week. It was fun! And beautiful.  Family photo❤️ The whole group! It was wonderful to camp together.  Val doing paddleboard headstands. Impressive! The kayaks were well used.  The Nature House always had interesting things for Elise, plus some neat programs. Most of us went to one on bears.  Joshua is so loved! Uncle Luke absolutely loves being an uncle.
