Zip lining


















What an exciting day! While Opa and Oma chose to stay in the campground with Nelly-Jayne and Joshua, the rest of us found some daredevil spirit and went zip lining. I loved it! Everyone did! Elise was quite young, and she ended up dangling for awhile needing to be rescued when she wasn’t quite heavy enough to make it across the longest cable. The staff guy had her very relaxed about it as he went hand-over-hand to get her, and even had her laughing. It was exhilarating!

National Day of Truth and Reconciliation

Deciding that Truth and Reconciliation were really not our issue, we went to PG to enjoy a long weekend with Jared’s family. Even Caleb came along! The men went to work tackling the winter wood supple while we ladies ran the home front. I did get to try the log splitter, but Luke, with his broken arm, was very busy with that job when he wasn’t driving the tractor. By the end of the day, the logs were beautifully stacked. Caleb had this responsibility and did a great job.

Little things

Campground map- very helpful  Dad and I snuck off for one walk together in the week. It was fun! And beautiful.  Family photo❤️ The whole group! It was wonderful to camp together.  Val doing paddleboard headstands. Impressive! The kayaks were well used.  The Nature House always had interesting things for Elise, plus some neat programs. Most of us went to one on bears.  Joshua is so loved! Uncle Luke absolutely loves being an uncle.
