Elise was very happy to be back in her own bed. 

Frank Schouten was glad to have us back in Chilliwack, and it was good to see him again. 
We were reminded of how much we like our paced driveway. 

Not sure Ranger loved this- but he was excited to have the kids back. 

Elise had a playdate with Ava. 


Stacy got a piano from the Bijkerks. 

My dishes cupboard opened while we were driving home. ALL of my Corelle came smashing down, but most of it survived. I lost two dinner plates, a lunch plate, and most of the bowls. Only five bowls made it. I was quite sad. These dishes were bought for the toy hauler in 2010… and only two plates had broken 😞 n all those years.

National Day of Truth and Reconciliation

Deciding that Truth and Reconciliation were really not our issue, we went to PG to enjoy a long weekend with Jared’s family. Even Caleb came along! The men went to work tackling the winter wood supple while we ladies ran the home front. I did get to try the log splitter, but Luke, with his broken arm, was very busy with that job when he wasn’t driving the tractor. By the end of the day, the logs were beautifully stacked. Caleb had this responsibility and did a great job.

Little things

Campground map- very helpful  Dad and I snuck off for one walk together in the week. It was fun! And beautiful.  Family photo❤️ The whole group! It was wonderful to camp together.  Val doing paddleboard headstands. Impressive! The kayaks were well used.  The Nature House always had interesting things for Elise, plus some neat programs. Most of us went to one on bears.  Joshua is so loved! Uncle Luke absolutely loves being an uncle.
