Uncle Randy’s Family Visit

It’s always fun when out of town family comes to visit. We got to see Uncle Randy’s family a few days. They visited us, and we did a day trip to Kilby, both the museum and the beach. 
A humorous moment came when, after hearing Caleb mock Kilby as childish with opportunities to “pat” animals ( straight from the website), Luke actually found a turkey and announced that he was patting it. 😂
We enjoyed the museum, especially the chance to play with old fashioned toys.

National Day of Truth and Reconciliation

Deciding that Truth and Reconciliation were really not our issue, we went to PG to enjoy a long weekend with Jared’s family. Even Caleb came along! The men went to work tackling the winter wood supple while we ladies ran the home front. I did get to try the log splitter, but Luke, with his broken arm, was very busy with that job when he wasn’t driving the tractor. By the end of the day, the logs were beautifully stacked. Caleb had this responsibility and did a great job.

Campground map- very helpful  Dad and I snuck off for one walk together in the week. It was fun! And beautiful.  Family photo❤️ The whole group! It was wonderful to camp together.  Val doing paddleboard headstands. Impressive! The kayaks were well used.  The Nature House always had interesting things for Elise, plus some neat programs. Most of us went to one on bears.  Joshua is so loved! Uncle Luke absolutely loves being an uncle.
