Returning Tonisha and Hazel

We were home from Mexico only one day when we headed out again. This time we were off to PG with two vehicles. I drove with Tonisha, Hazel and Elise. Actually, Tonisha drove. I supervised. Dennis took Luke, as he needed a vehicle to come home with after the weekend. Although this isn’t a great photo, Jared was very happy to get his wife and daughter back home. 
On our outing to town, we discovered that Hazel loves my coffee. She kept on asking for more! I would pour a wee bit in her cup but it was never enough. Smart girl! 



We went to an agriculture store in PG that actually had a coin operated ($0.25) that Elise and Hazel got to ride. Both loved it. 



Back at Jared’s we went for a snowy walk in their forest and just enjoyed the gorgeous sunshine. 
Throwing snowballs for Nova was fun! Dennis and Luke helped Tonisha shovel off the deck.

National Day of Truth and Reconciliation

Deciding that Truth and Reconciliation were really not our issue, we went to PG to enjoy a long weekend with Jared’s family. Even Caleb came along! The men went to work tackling the winter wood supple while we ladies ran the home front. I did get to try the log splitter, but Luke, with his broken arm, was very busy with that job when he wasn’t driving the tractor. By the end of the day, the logs were beautifully stacked. Caleb had this responsibility and did a great job.

Little things

Campground map- very helpful  Dad and I snuck off for one walk together in the week. It was fun! And beautiful.  Family photo❤️ The whole group! It was wonderful to camp together.  Val doing paddleboard headstands. Impressive! The kayaks were well used.  The Nature House always had interesting things for Elise, plus some neat programs. Most of us went to one on bears.  Joshua is so loved! Uncle Luke absolutely loves being an uncle.
