One Day at Home
Our arrival in Vancouver didn’t exactly go smoothly. We got a shuttle that was willing to drop us off at the right hotel although it wasn’t supposed to head there, so that was great. But at 11:00 pm when it’s 3 hours later for us with the time change, it’s really not wonderful when the truck wouldn’t start. Dead battery. The restaurant at the hotel was still open and an employee had booster cables, but they were not big enough. Finally a fantastic employee called BCAA for us and a tow truck driver boosted the engine. Our own bed was wonderful, but after only a few hours we got up to get the kids off to school. Elise was thrilled with her Mexican giraffe. Luke and Tonisha got hats and Caleb and Dad got shirts.
The kids had school skating in Sardis mid-morning, so Tonisha, Hazel and I went to join them. Super fun!
