Family Times

The kids and I went to visit Uncle Randy’s family, and after lunch there, we left Elise playing with her cousins while Luke and I went to the airport to get Dad. 
Happy reunion! 
We went back to Randy’s for wonderful chats and fun. 

We had dinner there as well. Uncle Harold’s family left for Opa and Oma’s place for a Spring Break holiday, but we were allowed to stay in their house. Then in the morning, we went to see Uncle Rick, Aunt Jaclyn and their beautiful baby, Nathaniel. There was so much joy in seeing them parenting their adopted son. ❤️



After a delicious lunch, we said goodbye and drove back to our fifth wheel trailer (our second trip with it😊) in Prince George.

National Day of Truth and Reconciliation

Deciding that Truth and Reconciliation were really not our issue, we went to PG to enjoy a long weekend with Jared’s family. Even Caleb came along! The men went to work tackling the winter wood supple while we ladies ran the home front. I did get to try the log splitter, but Luke, with his broken arm, was very busy with that job when he wasn’t driving the tractor. By the end of the day, the logs were beautifully stacked. Caleb had this responsibility and did a great job.

Little things

Campground map- very helpful  Dad and I snuck off for one walk together in the week. It was fun! And beautiful.  Family photo❤️ The whole group! It was wonderful to camp together.  Val doing paddleboard headstands. Impressive! The kayaks were well used.  The Nature House always had interesting things for Elise, plus some neat programs. Most of us went to one on bears.  Joshua is so loved! Uncle Luke absolutely loves being an uncle.
