Two busy days

We came home from the convention on Saturday, March 4 after 3 nights away. We picked up the kids, and unpacked, did groceries and enjoyed a wee bit of family time. Monday Dad went to Langley to pick up Tonisha and Hazel. I tried to do laundry and clean and organize my house and food/meals and pack for Mexico. 

Caleb’s last CCJHL game was that night. He scored for us. But it wasn’t enough for his team to move on in playoffs, which meant we wouldn’t miss out on seeing him play. Kind of good… 

From there we went to Vancouver, ready to head to Mexico early on Tuesday morning.

National Day of Truth and Reconciliation

Deciding that Truth and Reconciliation were really not our issue, we went to PG to enjoy a long weekend with Jared’s family. Even Caleb came along! The men went to work tackling the winter wood supple while we ladies ran the home front. I did get to try the log splitter, but Luke, with his broken arm, was very busy with that job when he wasn’t driving the tractor. By the end of the day, the logs were beautifully stacked. Caleb had this responsibility and did a great job.

Little things

Campground map- very helpful  Dad and I snuck off for one walk together in the week. It was fun! And beautiful.  Family photo❤️ The whole group! It was wonderful to camp together.  Val doing paddleboard headstands. Impressive! The kayaks were well used.  The Nature House always had interesting things for Elise, plus some neat programs. Most of us went to one on bears.  Joshua is so loved! Uncle Luke absolutely loves being an uncle.
