Everyday life

 

Our trips behind us, normal life resumed. We got new chicks in our barns and began looking forward to Christmas visits. 



Elise draws or makes things nearly every day. 


Luke’s basketball team played games every Tuesday and practices on Thursdays. 


Luke pulled an amazing grade on his Chemistry test. 


My two youngest sons looking handsome at church. 


Ladies’ Night Out at church had us decorating little tree rounds. These are the ones I did. I was quite happy with my artistic efforts. 



Julia was able to sleep over for two nights. Super fun for both girls!

National Day of Truth and Reconciliation

Deciding that Truth and Reconciliation were really not our issue, we went to PG to enjoy a long weekend with Jared’s family. Even Caleb came along! The men went to work tackling the winter wood supple while we ladies ran the home front. I did get to try the log splitter, but Luke, with his broken arm, was very busy with that job when he wasn’t driving the tractor. By the end of the day, the logs were beautifully stacked. Caleb had this responsibility and did a great job.

Little things

Campground map- very helpful  Dad and I snuck off for one walk together in the week. It was fun! And beautiful.  Family photo❤️ The whole group! It was wonderful to camp together.  Val doing paddleboard headstands. Impressive! The kayaks were well used.  The Nature House always had interesting things for Elise, plus some neat programs. Most of us went to one on bears.  Joshua is so loved! Uncle Luke absolutely loves being an uncle.
