Out for Dinner in Harrison

 We had Lacey sleep over for one night for her parents’ tenth anniversary. That same evening, Joop and Grace took us out for dinner at the Harrison Hot Springs Hotel buffet restaurant. This was still in connection with Caleb’s birthday, when they were unable to come. 

The girls brought books and colouring stuff and were completely entertained with getting their own food, trying octopus (Elise) and quietly colouring on the floor when they had enough food. The waitress even moved them to their own table.

National Day of Truth and Reconciliation

Deciding that Truth and Reconciliation were really not our issue, we went to PG to enjoy a long weekend with Jared’s family. Even Caleb came along! The men went to work tackling the winter wood supple while we ladies ran the home front. I did get to try the log splitter, but Luke, with his broken arm, was very busy with that job when he wasn’t driving the tractor. By the end of the day, the logs were beautifully stacked. Caleb had this responsibility and did a great job.

Campground map- very helpful  Dad and I snuck off for one walk together in the week. It was fun! And beautiful.  Family photo❤️ The whole group! It was wonderful to camp together.  Val doing paddleboard headstands. Impressive! The kayaks were well used.  The Nature House always had interesting things for Elise, plus some neat programs. Most of us went to one on bears.  Joshua is so loved! Uncle Luke absolutely loves being an uncle.
