Cranberry Bog Field Trip with Grade 2
Elise’s class (and Auntie Darlene) got to learn how to grow cranberries, and even taste some. Most were unimpressed with the flavour, but quite intrigued with the farming methods.
National Day of Truth and Reconciliation
Deciding that Truth and Reconciliation were really not our issue, we went to PG to enjoy a long weekend with Jared’s family. Even Caleb came along! The men went to work tackling the winter wood supple while we ladies ran the home front. I did get to try the log splitter, but Luke, with his broken arm, was very busy with that job when he wasn’t driving the tractor. By the end of the day, the logs were beautifully stacked. Caleb had this responsibility and did a great job.
